AP Exam Prep

What are the AP exams?

Advanced Placement examinations -AP exams enable students to take university-level courses in more than 38 subjects while they’re still in high school. Since AP exams are more intensive than regular high school subjects preparation they provide, AP courses are an excellent tool to help students make a smooth transition from high school to university.

Students take a 3 to the 4-hour exam at the end of the course, which is made up of multiple-choice and free-response questions.

Universities in the USA and Canada award credit to students who have taken advanced placement tests in high school, and can skip a few introductory courses in a given subject.

Research indicates that students who have scored 3 or higher in their AP exams have significantly higher chance in getting admissions, have greater academic success and higher chance in succeeding in college than non-AP students with similar abilities and background.
